Innovation Stage: Paths Crossing Paths

The Innovation Stage is back by special demand!

The Innovation Stage is a special event that brings together a variety of artists from different genres and place them on stage to create original work. These artists may never have met before. The theme is "Paths Crossing Paths". Not only do the artists paths cross with each other (and sometimes form long lasting bonds), but their paths cross with those witnessing the birth and creation of something truly special.

Expected events performed on the innovation stage includes a demonstration blues unplugged. A workshop featuring Guy Davis and Nerak Roth Patterson, rap session, and a jazz accompanied poetry reading.

The format for the innovation stage is as follows:

- 12:00 to 1:00 pm Special session with Nerak Roth Patterson and Guy Davis unplugged
- 1:00 to 2:30 pm Group 1
- 2:30 to 4:30 pm Group 2
- 4:30 to 5:00 pm Group 3

In addtion, there will be several 15 minute breaks between blues artists that will feature artists on the innovation stage. Those breaks are at 5:45, 6:45, 7:45, 8:45 and 9:45. A complete listing of artists performing on the innovation stage will be available at the Blues Festival Booth.
